Final Assignment

My roommates and I went to Acadia, Maine for the weekend (4/29/21 to 5/1/21) to visit the National Park, Acadia, and explore the surrounding area to take photos. Vince Rebbecchi and Ben Stephens both enjoy photographing nature, such as birds and landscapes, while Eric focuses more on signs of people and landscapes. On our first day, we took a trip to a shore town and got to see some beautiful landscapes and Moonlight Kingdom-esque towns. The next day we woke up and headed into Acadia National Park, where after a brief detour around closed entrances, we were able to hike three trails. The first one was a long easy one along the coast, the second was a climb up the side of a mountain, and the third was around an extremely large lake. That night we headed back, packed up, and tried some Astro Photography. (April 29th, 2021 - May 1st, 2021, photos taken by Dean Powers.)

Video Profile Assignment

Elaine and Amy Powers of southern New Jersey started an online shop for cat toys before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after this, they switched over to mainly producing masks for family, friends, and their small online fanbase to promote public health. Elaine briefly walks you through her mask making process and talks about her small business.

Pitman Project

Alex Salvitti is a student at the Parsons School of Design in New York City. During the pandemic, she’s been stuck at home in Sewell, New Jersey, and has been working on class projects from there. Without access to the facilities she would have in school, she’s been forced to work in a very do-it-yourself manner.
